He was predeceased by: his parents, Fritz Sherment and Martha Ann Sherment (Anna); his wife Wanda Crabtree; his daughters, Jonna Pippin (Bobby) and Linda Williams; his siblings, Steve, Pete Sherment, Katherine, Mary and Christine; and his friend Millie Bradshaw.
He is survived by: his daughter DiAnna L. Gavras (John); his grandchildren, Robyn Pippin Franklin (Eddie), Annette James (John), Chris Gavras (Sally Craig Gavras), Randy Williams (Karen) and Kevin Williams (Peggy); his nephew Steve Sherment; and his nieces, Sue Giessmann and Karen Watkins. He is also survived by other nieces and all is great grandchildren.
