She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Schott and Katherine Schlauder Schott; and her husband Red Thompson. She is survived by: her daughters, Pam and Vicki Taylor (Michael, Pam Thompson); her grandchildren, Stephanie Laird, Lauren Whitlock (Travis) and Mike Taylor (Amanda, Kent Taylor); her great grandchildren, Will, Avery Perez, Aubrie Whitlock, Matthew Taylor, Harrison, Scarlett Taylor, Jaboni and Savanna Minyard; and her sister-in-law Thelma Wilson.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or HAART (Henryetta Animal Aid & Rescue Team).
