He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewayne Montgomery and Hannah Mae Montgomery (Smith); his sisters, Glenda Jimsey and Renee Montgomery; and his stepmother Fannie O'Neal.
He is survived by: his daughter Dawn Cherie Montgomery of Sallisaw; his grandchildren, Addison Elaine Montgomery, Colin James Garrett (Cheri Necessary) of Sallisaw and Elaine Gunter of Sallisaw; his siblings, David Montgomery, Dennis Montgomery, Marcus Montgomery, Rita Montgomery, Michael Montgomery (Kim), Charles Jones, Mary Louise Jones and Brenda Phillips; and his pet Lola.
