He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wesley Powell and Suzie Elizabeth Powell (Mizell); and his siblings, Johnny Powell, George Powell, Dorothy Griffin, Evelyn Smith and Raymond Powell.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Powell; his sons, Kenneth Powell (Heather) of Dallas, Mike Powell of Henryetta, Danny Powell Jr. of Henryetta and Stacy Powell (Brandi) of Henryetta; his grandchildren, Greg, Brooke, Jason Hartman, Leslie, Shawn and Cadence; his great grandchildren, Natalie, Ray, Seth, Braylyn and Cash; and his siblings, Jackie Nolan of Paduka, Suzie Stovall of Paris, Billy Powell of Heaver Springs and Carl Powell of Paris. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
