He is survived by: his wife Alta Smith; his pets, Butter, Coco, Pumpkin and Peanut; his children, Daniel Smith Jr. (Dana Smith) of Kalamazoo, Michigan, Darin Smith (Selena Smith) of Iron Mountain, Michigan and Devin Smith of Sault Ste; his stepchildren, Andre Faina of Baytown, Texas and Anna Faina of Baytown, Texas.; his grandchildren, Morgan, Caleb, Shelby, Mary, Jacob, Mitchell, Marissa, Emily, Danny, Sophia and Andre Jr.; and his great grandchildren, Maddison, Tyler, Maddi and Keaton. He is also survived by many in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
