He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Collis Tinnea Sr. and Nina Tinnea (Bowerman); and his brothers, David, Noble and Oren Tinnea.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Knox Tinnea (Wooley); his children, Christy (Jerrod Dumond), Richard Carl (Jeanie Tinnea) and April (Larry Heitfeld); his grandchildren, Dayna James, Angela, Blake Ferguson, Layton Heitfeld, Morgan Dumond, Heidi Heitfeld, Emily Tinnea, Taelyr Dumond and Lauren Tinnea; his great grandchildren, Zeus, Matthias James, Elizabeth and Gabriella Ferguson; his sister Marie Hearty of Australia; and also, Katy and Aliyah. He is also survived by PaPa; extended family and friends.
Memorial donations may be made in honor of Carl to the American Cancer Society for Melanoma research or to one's personal home church.
