He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lee Herod and Pearl Herod (Ratcliff); his wife Barbara DeLambert; his children, Danny, Joyce Teeples (Herod) and Janet West (Herod); his granddaughter Kathlene Teeples; his siblings, Archie, Bert, Leslie, Marion, George and Lila Mower (Herod); his son Dan Herod (Jan) of Kansas City, Kansas; and his brother Richard. He was also cherished by six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
