It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Gabriel in Hennessey, Oklahoma, born in Garber, Oklahoma, who passed away on June 20, 2021, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Truman Johnston and Olga Johnston; her husband Albert; and her sister Edna Landwehr. She is survived by: her children, Sammy Gabriel (Cindy) of Spartanburg, SC, Sandra Sue Simunek (David) of Marshall, Kay Meek (Michael) of Hennessey and Rita McGuire (Steve) of Lenexa, Kansas; her brother Carl Johnston of Denver, CO; and her brother-in-law Ernest Gabriel (Clemy). She is also survived by nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren; numerous great- great grandchildren.
