She was predeceased by: her parents, Dave Blanton, and Alcester Blanton, Sr.; her son James Edward Mitchell; and her siblings, Beulah Mae Burton, Estella Myrtle Rogers, Arthur Blanton (Tee), Dave Blanton Jr. and Harvey Blanton.
She is survived by: her children, Harold Mitchell, Rena Bell (Ladon), Kevin Ray Mitchell (April) and Kenneth Alan Mitchell (Migdalia). She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
