He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Slaton and Betty Phelps Slaton. He is survived by: his daughters, Kari (Billy Petty) of Enid and Lori Slaton (Sheldon Stephens) of Enid; his grandchildren, Shalyn Petty and Bryant Petty; and his siblings, Sharon Eckhardt of Enid, Lisa Ratzlaff of Enid and Gene Slaton of Enid.
