It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Altstatt of Heavener, Oklahoma, who passed away on February 10, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Altstatt and Carrie Mae Altstatt (Tolls); his wife Ruth Ellen Altstatt (Brown); his daughter Nancy Lynn McClain (Altstatt); and his siblings, Hugh Gene Altstatt and Peggy Johnson.
He is survived by: his children, Georgia "Doddie" Dean (Mike) of Heavener, Oklahoma. and Jeffrey "Jeff" Altstatt (Shelley) of Heavener, Oklahoma.; his son-in-law David McClain of Heavener; his brother-in-law L. R. "Ray" Brown (Donna) of Pine Bluff, Arkansas.; and his grandsons, Chris Dean, Patrick Dean, Scott Irvin, Bryan Altstatt, Andy Altstatt and Greg McClain. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren 33 great-grandchildren 13 great-great-grandchildren.
