He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Arthur "Buck" and Anna Mae Watkins (Crownover); his wife Barbara Faye Watkins; his grandson Eric Watkins; his great grandchild Bryor Watkins; and his siblings, Gladys Cryer and L. J. Watkins.

He is survived by: his children, Julie Thomas (Brett) of Norman, Oklahoma. and Joey (Sandy Watkins); his sister Norma Jean Elmore of Frederick, Oklahoma.; and his grandchildren, Terry Watkins, James Watkins, Jodie Allen Watkins, Jake Watkins and Isabelle Watkins.
