It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lawanda Owens of Haworth, Oklahoma, who passed away on February 19, 2024, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Steaveson, Sr. and Barbara Jean Barber; her daughter Misty Simpson; her grandson Luke Simpson; her grandparents, Florence and Buman White; her great grandchild Ryker Owens; and her in-laws, Elva and Mary Owens.
She is survived by: her husband Richard Owens of Haworth; her sons, Wade (Mandy Steaveson), Billy (Jana Owens), Shane (Teresa Owens) and Richard Jr. (Carol Owens); and her siblings, Alvin Steaveson, Jr., Jeffrey Steaveson, Craig Steaveson and Wuanelle (Ray Vanness). She is also survived by 29 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.
