He was predeceased by: his parents, E. J. "Buster" Brown and Maggie Ellen Brown (Stulz); and his siblings, Ruby Marie Floyd and Newell Junior Brown. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Brown of Haskell; his siblings, Steve Brown (Sarah) of Duncan and Marie Worley of Norman; his sister-in-law RoseAnn Brown of Duncan; his children, Brenda Louise Brown-Booth, Willie Dewayne Brown (Paula) and Belinda Sue Brown (Carrie) of Haskell; his grandchildren, Thomas Slape of Haskell, Stephanie Uggla of Haskell, April Carter (Thomas Carpenter) and Jonathan Brown (Brittany) of Haskell; and his great grandchildren, Hailey, Brendan, Emma, Will, Elijah, Ava, Bowen and Bensen.
Viewing was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dowdy-Marker Funeral Home (201 W Commercial St, Haskell, OK 74436). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Clarksville Free Will Baptist Church (41673 E 233 St S, Porter, OK 74454).
