He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Woodard and Anna Woodard (Breshears); his siblings, Bill Woodard and Bonnie Madewell; and his nephews, Don Madewell and Billy Don Woodard.

He is survived by: his nieces, Debbie Brittenham and Janis Forbes; his niece-in-law Gail Madewell; and his uncle Bud Breshears. He is also survived by many great-nieces and nephews, caretakers and friends.
