He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Luther Hobbs and Joneta Faye Crawley (Adams); and his siblings, Doretta Heaper, Edward Luther Hobbs, Jr. and Pete Crawley.
He is survived by: his son William E. Hobbs, Jr. of Florida; his siblings, Carol York (Larrey) of Hartshorne, Joyce Harp (Ray) of McAlester, Coy Crawley of McAlester, Edora Surrell (Steve) of Elmer, Patricia Harl of Tulsa, Paul Hobbs of Indiana, Wendell Hobbs of Tulsa and Bobby of Indiana; and his cousin Betty "Jeannie" Vanderpool (Clifford) of Bache. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
