He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Dale Burke and Adelia Burke (Shoemake); his siblings, Freddie (Brabara), Vernon and Alma Mason (Jack); and his grandchildren, Shelly Jean Steidley and Anthony Dale Burke.
He is survived by: his wife Floreda Burke; his children, Adonna Kay Bond, Lawrence Dean Burke (Polly), Leon Dale Burke, Jr. (Donna) and Reta Marie McKee; and his sister Clariece Chapman. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren.
