He was predeceased by: his parents, John Jacob Smith and Sadie Elizabeth Smith (Wilson); and his sister Elizabeth Smith. He is survived by: his daughter Donetta Renee Smith; his brothers, Benny Smith and Bobby Smith; his niece Heather LaQuay; his nephew Phillip Smith (Beatrice); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Madalyne Smith, Bailey Smith, Domanick Swing and Conner Collier.
