He was predeceased by: his wife Greta Stephenson (Curliss); his parents, Roy Stephenson and Edith Stephenson (Blansett); his siblings, June Dixon (Stephenson), Vera Brazil (Stephenson), Robert "Buddy" Stephenson and John Henry Stephenson; and his close friend John J. "Joe" McMurtrey.
He is survived by: his children, Mary Ann Strombitski (Carl) of Durant and David Stephenson (Rita) of Oklahoma City; his granddaughter Carla Nejad (Sam); his sisters-in-law, Gloria Marzuola, Linda Sherrill of McAlester and Betty Curliss of Hartshorne; and his nephews, Mike Curliss, Robert Stephenson and Mike Stephenson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
