He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl William and Louise Kay Porter (Klimkowski); and his sister Mary Lou Burris. He is survived by: his wife Betty Jane Thompson; his daughters, Barbara (Scott Augustine) of Llano, Donna Miller (Joe Hunter) of Newalla, Julie Williams of Oklahoma City, Jeannie (Scott Prostert) of Spring Branch and Jimmie (Daniel "Cory" Monroe) of McLoud; and his sister Gloria Jean (Tommy Quaide) of Santa Fe. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
