He was predeceased by: his parents, William Sawyer and Myrtle May Sawyer (Baker); his siblings, Bill Sawyer, Gilbert Sawyer, Dora Penick, Dorthy Ford, Elsie Johnston, Lizzie George, James Robert Sawyer and Gracie Elizabeth Sawyer; and his son-in-law Roy Plotner.
He is survived by: his wife Ki Ye Sawyer (Yu); his children, James Sawyer (Nancy) of Choctaw, OK, Wanda Johnson (Albert Murphy) of Mcloud, OK, Shirley White of Norman, OK, Carol Sawyer of Mansfield, TX and Debbie Smith (Marvin) of Mcloud, OK; and his sisters, Wilma Nail (Ronnie) of Savanna, OK and Frances Lamey (Bill) of Antlers, OK.. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
