She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas James and Mary Virginia Lawson Bruce; her husband Glen R. Gum; her children, Ginger Gum and Ted Gum; her daughter-in-law Sharon Wetmore Gum (Julian Jay Pio); her brother Tommy Jack Bruce; her grandparents, William, Grace Hutchinson Lawson, James and Emma Groft Bruce; her parents-in-law, Ernest and Bessie Ingels Gum; and her stepchildren, Douglas Pio and Julie Pio Donnelly.
She is survived by: her children, Bruce Gum (Sarena) of Amarillo, Jerry Gum (Tammy) of Hardesty, Carolyn Whiteside (Jeffrey) of Amarillo and Shirley Smith of Guymon; her stepdaughter Karyn Sue Pio Lively of Guymon; her grandchildren, Heidi Nunley (Jay) of Hooker, Maggi Stavig (Randy) of Guymon, Merri Dupree (Devon) of Butler, Melody Gum of Tulsa, Krista Gum of Hardesty, Jeremy Whiteside (Mandy) of Amarillo, Chris Whiteside (Amanda) of Amarillo, Derek Smith (Charlcee) of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Deidra Smith of Guymon, April Jackson (Rick) of Yukon, Somer Costiloe (Ryan) of Yukon, Manda Holcomb (Trey) of Ft. Worth, Texas and Meredith Garcia of Amarillo; and her great grandchildren, Rhett, Kip, Thane Nunley of Hooker, Addison, Tinley Stavig of Guymon, Annie, Emma, Creek Dupree of Butler, Oklahoma, Mason, Xavier Whiteside of Amarillo, Abby, Nathaniel Whiteside of Amarillo, Sloane Smith of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Anna Miller and Robert Hudson of Amarillo. She is also survived by nieces and nephews and some very special friends.
