He was predeceased by: his parents, Odessa Louise Green Summerford and Tommy Andrew Summerford; his brother Tommy Ray Summerford; his brother-in-law Jerry McClenagan; and his father-in-law Buford Stump.
He is survived by: his wife Diana Dale Stump Summerford; his sister Martha McClenagan of Amarillo, TX; his children, Jeffrey Summerford (Robin) of Oklahoma City, OK, Angela Larpenter (Kevin) of Tahoka, TX and Kimberly Chapman (Brian) of Durham, OK; his grandchildren, Mitch Summerford (Sydnie) of Oklahoma City, OK, Marissa Callen (Nate) of Lincoln, NE, Kyle Larpenter (Carrie) of Lubbock, TX, Kadi Stunz (Jake) of Plano, TX, Kara Larpenter of Lubbock, TX and Kade Chapman of Durham, OK; his mother-in-law Mildred Stump; and his brothers-in-law, Merrill Stump (Kathy) and David Stump (Kathy). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
