She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Cox and Mattie Cox (Kerns); her husband J. D. Layman; her daughter Trena McDougal; and her brothers, L. C. Cox and J. D. Cox.
She is survived by: her daughters, Ramona Cipponeri (Tom) of Riverbank, CA, Joyce Berry of Hanna, OK and Lavendia Ketchum (Milo) of Checotah, OK; and her brother Terrel Cox (Shirley) of Dustin, OK. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
