With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Jerry Gwartney of Hammon, Oklahoma, born in Elk City, Oklahoma, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Clifford and Rachel Marie Gwartney (Allen); his wife Mary; his brother Bill D. Gwartney; and his sister-in-law Sherry Gwartney.
He is survived by: his sons, Mark Dale Gwartney (Sonja) of Aurora, Timothy Carl Gwartney (Kelly) of Hammon and Jeffery Dean Gwartney (Amy) of Edmond, Oklahoma; his grandchildren, Mykel Cloyd (Ethan) of Hammon, Morgan Taylor (Jeremy) of Hammon, Madison Gwartney of Hammon, Hannah Keith (Joey) of Post Falls, MacKenzie Gwartney of Aurora, Cooper Gwartney of Aurora, Ella Gwartney of Edmond, Oklahoma and Max Gwartney of Edmond, Oklahoma; his great grandchildren, Elliot Louise Anderson of Hammon and Amelia Keith of Post Falls, Idaho; and also Mert.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM at the Martin-Dugger Funeral Home and Cremation Service (600 W Country Club Blvd, Elk City, OK 73644). A wake will be held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Martin-Dugger Funeral Home and Cremation Services Chapel (600 W Country Club Blvd, Elk City, OK 73644). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church-Hammon (704 Shockey St, Hammon, OK 73650).
