He is survived by: his children, Joe Joe McMurtrey of Haileyville, OK and Renee Gray (J. L. Gray) of The Woodlands, TX; his grandsons, Brodie Kerr of Oklahoma City, OK, Dr. John Gray of Houston, TX, Joel Gray of The Woodlands, TX and Rocky McMurtrey of Haileyville, OK; his siblings, Frank McMurtrey (Carma Sue) of Hartshorne, OK, Eddie McMurtrey of Haileyville, OK, Charlene Butkis of Dolton, ILL, Shirley McBee of Hartshorne, OK and Delores Faith (Dotty) of Muskogee, OK; his friend J. W. Stephenson of Hartshorne, OK.; and his nieces and nephews, Frankie Ray McMurtrey, Jefferey McMurtrey, Randy Faith, Rodney Faith, Eddie Carol McMurtrey, Todd McBee, Scot Butkis, Mike Ellmaker, Julie Nell Brooksher and Lori Sue Roan.
