He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Raymond Ernest McVey; his wife Cathy; his children, Amber Meis (Brian) of Hays and Skip Cox (Desty) of Hays; his grandsons, Darrick Doeshot of Beloit, Austin Meis of Hays Kansas, Remington Cox of Hays Kansas, Taylon Doeschot of Hays Kansas and Gunner Cox of Hays Kansas; his mother Lola McVey of Guymon; his siblings, Marlyn Dyer (Phil) of Simpsonville and Gene McVey (Bobby) of Enid; and his siblings-in-law, Joetta Wilson (Bob) of Libby, Cora Sue Ellsaesser (Jerry) of Stover Missouri and Gary Stefan (Cindy) of Goddard. He was also cherished by several nieces, nephews and cousins and a host of friends.
Memorial Donations may be made to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation or the Heritage Community with them being accepted at the funeral home.
