She was loved and cherished by many people including: her mother Mayme Ruth Highley; her husband Merl Hicks; her daughter Connie Hicks of Guymon; her grandchildren, Brice Hicks, Benton Hicks, Shanna Walle (Karel) and Natasha Fitzgerald (Wes); her siblings, Byron Lollar (Beth) and Esther Parker (Corky); her great grandchildren, Chynna Hicks, Kennley, Lennox Walle and Lincoln Fitzgerald; her son Mark Alan Hicks; her father Benton Lollar; and her siblings, Wayne, Earl, Jack, Delbert, Clayton, Johnny, Irma Dixon, June Woods, Joye Hicks and Alice Hayden. She was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
