He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Cruz and Ida Cruz (Perea); and his siblings, Angie Martinez, Marcella Madrid, Cathy Segovia, Lena Cruz and Lawrence Cruz (William Howenstein).
He is survived by: his wife Dot Cruz; his children, Danny Cruz (Terri) of San Antonio, Tammy Jones of Woodstock and DeeAnn Helton of Guymon; his grandchildren, Courtney Barretto (Miguel) of San Antonio, Corey Cruz of San Antonio, Seth Jones (Michelle) of Woodstock, Tayler Jones of Neptune Beach, Casey Cruz of San Antonio and Addison Helton of Guymon; his great grandchild Noah Joseph Jones of Woodstock; and his siblings, Ernestine Cruz of Guymon, Martha Cruz of Guymon, Frank Cruz (Donna) of Amarillo, Texas. and Raymond Cruz Jr. of Amarillo, Texas.. He is also survived by numerous In-Laws, nieces and nephews.
Memorials in memory of Joe may be given to the Alzheimer's Association or Muscular Dystrophy Association.
