It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Edwin Carter of Guymon, Oklahoma, born in Columbus, Ohio, who passed away on November 26, 2021, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Francis Carter (Petty) and Clarence Carter; and his sister Barbara Felice. He is survived by: his children, Michell Fillmore (Matthew) of Ohio, Nicole Redman (Scott) of Texas, Dannielle Yeprem (Andrew) of Tennessee, Harley Carter of Oklahoma and Joshua Carter (Brittany) of Oklahoma; and his siblings, Janice Smith (J. J.) of Texas, Charlotte Carter of Texas and Jeff Carter (Linda) of Texas. He is also survived by six grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
