She was predeceased by: her mother Naomi Marine Cotton (Trentham); her husband Adolph Mareś; her father James Cotton; and her siblings, Dortha Robinett and Billy Cotton.
She is survived by: her brother James Cotton of Port Lavaca; her niece Elizabeth Edwards of Guymon; her great-niece Alexis Hickman of Sublette; and also, Jason Settles of Sublette and Siena Settles. She is also survived by numerous other nieces and nephews.
