It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Waneta Creel of Guthrie, Oklahoma, who passed away on September 16, 2021, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Waldo Eck and Beatrice Eck (Davis); her siblings, Bertha Miles, Lillie East, Hurley Eck and Larry Eck; and her stepchildren, Sharon Roberson, Stanley Creel, Jim Creel and Eddie Creel.
She is survived by: her husband Leroy Creel; her son Daniel (Rhonda); her granddaughters, Bridgette of Edmond, Oklahoma., Courtney of Edmond, Oklahoma. and Jillian Creel of Edmond, Oklahoma.; her sister Berniece Miles of Edmond, Oklahoma; and her siblings-in-law, Vernon Miles of Guthrie and Linda Mize of Denver, Colorado.. She is also survived by many cousins and friends.
This foundation built into her a love of good harmony and inspiring songs.
