He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Allen and Ellen Tarrant Allen; his brothers, Clyde Orville and Lloyd Gene Allen; and his son Jeff Allen.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Hart of Sacramento; his children, Steve Allen, Joy Alexander (Kathy), Von Allen (Chris) and Greg Allen (Cathy); his grandchildren, Ashley Allen (Brooke), Amy Allen Carrera (Carlos), Jenny Allen Foster (Lincoln), Jeremy Allen (Erin) and Crystal Allen; and his great grandchildren, Mary Wells (Rusty), Christian Allen (Amy), Dyllan Schwenke, Logan Amanda, Waylon, Wyatt Foster, Aiden, Nieava Carerra, Braxton, Sadie Allen, Josie, Andrew Allen, Paige, Russell and Emmie Wells.
