He was predeceased by: his parents, John Furlong and Wilma Furlong (Robinson); his brother Vince Furlong; his grandson Brady Benson; and his nephew Brian Akins.
He is survived by: his children, Brooke Benson (Brian), Clayton Furlong (Vanessa) and Kylie Pugh; his sisters, Rose Gathers (Lynn), Joan Graham (Rance) and Mary Pat Cordis (Orson); and his sister-in-law Julie Furlong. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
