With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Norma Shipman of Guthrie, Oklahoma, who passed away on August 10, 2021 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Granville and Alta Lavana Towle (Murphy); her husband Merle Thomas Shipman; and her siblings, Everett Granville Towle, Jr., Phyllis Ann Towle, Viola Mae Gunkel (Towle) and James Paxton Towle.
She is survived by: her children, Linda S. Redman of Midlothian, Ronald L. Shipman (Marsha) of Guthrie and Carol J. Shipman of Oklahoma City, OK; her grandchildren, Mark G. Redman (Melanie) of Lantana, TX, Kristen M. Redman of Greensboro and Ashley N. Haynes (Cameron) of Wichita, KS; her great grandchildren, Elliot R. and Margo J. Haynes of Wichita; her sister Mary Darlene Dawson (Sammie) of Guthrie; and her sister-in-law Maxine Towle of Guthrie. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
