She was predeceased by: her parents, Burnett Hawkins and Evelyn Hawkins (Buford); her husband Wesley Whitehorn, Sr.; her brother Sherman Hawkins; and her sons, Timothy and Terry Whitehorn.
She is survived by: her children, Larry Norwood (Deborah), Denise Jenkins (Alonzo), Wesley Whitehorn, Jr., Treta Whitehorn, Tamara Ellis (Mori), Kimberly Whitehorn, Michonne Franklin (Robert) and Renae Dudley; her close friend Doretha Hamlin (Aunt Doe); her niece Angie; and her nephew Darryl Hawkins.
