With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Maryanna Martin (Guthrie, Oklahoma), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 24, 2024 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Don Moon and Ruth Ellen May Moon; her husband James L. Martin; her siblings, Don Moon, Jr., Margaret Johnson and Martha Larsen; her son-in-law Mark Vance; and her grandchildren, Caitlin Abernathy, Lily Martin and Jonathan Martin.
She is survived by: her children, Elaine Abernathy (Clayton) of Edmond, Dr. Dean Martin (Andrea) of Tulsa, Von Martin (Karen) of Edmond, Jami Vance of Edmond and Ted Martin (Kristina) of Dallas, TX.; her grandchildren, Torrey Abernathy, Rebecca Abernathy, Devon Cantrell (Jeremy), Marin Marzolf (Derek), Elizabeth Martin, Kali Clark (Josh), Tara Martin, Derek Vance (Heather), Kristen Vance, Caroline Vance, Hope Martin and Ella Martin; her great grandchildren, Trent, Katelyn, Phillip, Travis Bailey, Kyrin McKay, Cooper, Charlee Cantrell, Stella, Karsten Clark and Mark Michael Vance; and her sister-in-law Ruth Kinney of Edmond.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hayes Funeral Home (117 E Noble Ave, Guthrie, OK 73044). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First United Presbyterian Church (1201 W Noble Ave, Guthrie, OK 73044).
