He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Loyd and Thelma Leona Mize (Klopfenstein); his former wife Roberta Bailey Mize (Suzie); his siblings, Cecil Gene Mize and Janice Jones; his son Rick Mize; his grandson Taylor Gorrell; and his great grandchild Trey Zindell.
He is survived by: his wife Patty Mize; his children, Janice Arsenault, Kimi Locke (Ken Locke), Troy Mize (Kelly Mize), Barbra Smith and David Williams; and his grandchildren, April Loya, Traci Early, Amber Arsenault, Tara Zindell, Trisha Kirk, John Arsenault, Joshua Mize, Jordan Wiginton, Kaitlyn Wiginton, Brooke Sparks, Jesse Smith, Lynn Mize and Shayni Barb. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
