He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles Edward and Virgie Mae Welch (Short); his wife Helen Welch (Shorty); and his siblings, Nathan Welch and Evelyn Roton. He was also cherished by many children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
