We are sad to announce that on February 28, 2020, at the age of 82, Leslie Canning (Guthrie, Oklahoma) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmitt J. Canning and Martha Viola Canning (Ruhl); his wife Lina Ruth James; his son John William; his siblings, Buddy, Charles and Violet; and his siblings-in-law, Blair Arnold and Bunny.

He is survived by: his former wife Thelma; his daughters, Martha Elizabeth (Britton) and Patricia Canning; his grandchildren, Danielle Sasser (Thomas), Steven Canning, Dillon Beasly, Casey and Shane Prescott; his great grandchildren, Cole Cooke and Korbyn Sasser; his sister Dorothy Swanson; and his nephew Donny Canning (Barri).
