It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathleen Jean Ayarza of Guthrie, Oklahoma, born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, who passed away on June 16, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Raymond Norton Simpson and Mary Jean Simpson (Gravelle); her husband Carlos E. Ayarza; her sister Laura Ivan; her children, Chuck Ayarza (Jane Anne) of Guthrie, Heidi McCall (Tim) of Godley and Heather Massey (Trent) of Flower Mound, Texas; her siblings, Kevin Simpson (Chrissy) of Gilbert, Rusti Martinson of Pahrump and Cindy Lindstrom of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; and her grandchildren, Jonathan Ayarza, Joshua Ayarza, Jessica Ayarza, Dustin Ayarza, Bethany Ayarza, Amber Howard, Matthew Gulick, Aleese Warren, Austin McCall, Wyatt Massey, Mary Massey and Wesley Massey. She was also cherished by 14 great-grandchildren, three nieces, and five nephews.
