We bid farewell to John Jay Sayre of Guthrie, Oklahoma, born in Pratt, Kansas, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 11, 2025 at the age of 78. John touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde J. Sayre and Lorraine Sayre (Alexander); his siblings, Larry Sayre, Naomi Hall and Mary Boetz; and his great grandchild Aria Kiser.
He is survived by: his daughters, Theresa Sayre and Kim Bruno; his grandchildren, Tristan Rose, Aislynn Rose, Aden Bruno, Kaleb Elias Bruno, Ky'Yla Vaughn, Conner Kiser and Jaxxon Kiser; his great grandchild Eryn Vaughn; and his siblings, Tom Sayre, Sue Smith and Dale Sayre.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Smith-Gallo Funeral Home (220 N 1st St, Guthrie, OK 73044).
