With profound sadness, we say goodbye to John August Crabtree of Guthrie, Oklahoma, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. John August left this world on February 6, 2025 at the age of 65, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Garland Crabtree and Alice Crabtree (Hansens); and his sister Garla Kay Crabtree. He is survived by: his partner Devin Tyler of Guthrie; his siblings, Donnie Crabtree (Rhonda) of Edmond and Elizabeth Cook of Guthrie; his nieces, Tayler Cook and Mattyson Cook; and his pets, Dutchess, Duke and Charlie.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Community Church (512 E Seward Rd, Guthrie, OK 73044).
