He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben B. Penrod and Dora L. Penrod (Bock); his sister Dorothy Johnston; and his brother-in-law Joe Johnston. He is survived by: his wife Erma Penrod; his children, Georgia Penrod of Guthrie and David Penrod (Judy) of Morris, Oklahoma.; his grandchildren, Nicholas Penrod (Hilary) of Bixby, Stephen Penrod (Leslie) of Sand Springs and Sydney Felty (Austin) of Bixby; and his great grandchildren, Karsyn, Beau Penrod of Savannah, Ada Penrod of Bixby and Theodore Felty of Bixby. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Smith-Gallo Funeral Home (220 N 1st St, Guthrie, OK 73044). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Smith Memorial Chapel (220 N 1st St, Guthrie, OK 73044).
