He was predeceased by: his mother Jeanne Anne Smithpeter (Toby); his stepmother Louise Swensen; his parents-in-law, Melvia Beams and Jake Mullins; and his sister-in-law Penny Mullins.
He is survived by: his father Eugene Elmer Swensen; his wife Karen Swensen; his children, Aaron Swensen (Joy Swensen) and Deanna Layman (Chase Layman); his grandchildren, Sydney Swensen, Cale Swensen, Eli Layman, Judah Swensen, Ephraim Layman, Roman Swensen and Elliott Layman; his brothers, Robert Swensen (Angela), Myron Swensen (Monica) and Glenn Swensen; and his siblings-in-law, Mary Starkey (Jerry) and Jim Mullins. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
