It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Opal Shaw of Guthrie, Oklahoma, who passed away on April 2, 2021, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Curtis Fent and Pearl Fent (Jarllis); her children, Robert Shaw (Barbara) of Edmond, Dorothy Janet Dixon of Guthrie, Lily Ilene Drye (Victor) of Crescent and Vickie Pearl Haney of Guthrie; her sister Bertha Oswald of Enid; and her husband William Walter Shaw. She was also cherished by 10 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
