He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Alvin Rogers and Hildreth Rogers; his wife Evelyn Louise Rogers; his daughters, Deborah "Debbie" Smedley (Melvin) and Christina Tillman; his grandchildren, Jared, Jason Smedley, Meagen Baumann, Maggie Barnett and William "Billy" Kelley; and his siblings, Kenneth Rogers, James Rogers and Ida May Forsythe. He was also cherished by 10 great-grandchildren.
