It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Betty Monteen Powell of Guthrie, Oklahoma, born in Enid, Oklahoma, who passed away on September 13, 2024, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles H. Wagner and Eva L. Wagner (Stepp); her husband Lon; her siblings, Charles, Everett, Eugene, Ethel Jones, DeElla Anthony and Joyce Revis; and her great grandchild Michael Robinson, III.

She is survived by: her children, Lon Jr. (Judy), Jerry Powell and Connie Robinson; and her grandchildren, Tonya Cummings (Greg), Amber Huerta (Roy), Jerry Powell, Jr., Michael Robinson, Ryan Powell (Ashley) and Jared Powell (Megan). She is also survived by many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in her honor to Community Church, P.O. Box 1413, Guthrie, Oklahoma 73044.
