It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernard Short of Guthrie, Oklahoma, who passed away on February 2, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Bernard and Charline Short (Baker); and his brother Larry Ray Short. He is survived by: his uncle A. C. Kennard; his wife Marna Gay; his son Bernard Dale (BD); his grandchildren, Lauren (Pete), Jordan (Kay-La), Kyle (Keilee), Megan (Rhory), Aaron (Brittany), Tyler (Reagan), Jenna, Margaret (Marcos) and Claire; his daughter Jennifer Doll (Terry); his grandchildren, Shayne (Carly), Tonya (Hugo) and Tiffany (Bryan); and his siblings, Franklin Short, Annetta Monden and Lela (Larry Williams). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, & cousins.
