She was predeceased by: her parents, Adolph August and Ellen Elizabeth Hanson (Bryant); her former husband Garland Crabtree; and her daughter Garla Kay. She is survived by: her husband Stan Dowers; her stepchildren, Marla Cook and Leisha Dowers; her children, Donnie (Rhonda), John (Devin) and Elizabeth; and her granddaughters, Mattyson Cook and Taylor Cook.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to St. Jude Children's Hospital or to Camp Joy.
